Hartland Country House & Cottages has been a much-loved family property since the early 1980s, when it was purchased by the Theron family. Over the years, the land and its buildings have gathered countless stories, shaped by family life, hard work, and a deep connection to the countryside.
In 2023, the property entered a new chapter when it was taken over by the eldest son, Ras, along with his wife Lexi and their three boys—Noah, Gabe, and Mitch. With great care and respect for its history, the original house and cottages were thoughtfully renovated to welcome guests, blending comfort with the character of the past.
Today, Hartland Country House & Cottages offers a peaceful country escape with the convenience of being close to town, beautiful beaches, and nearby golf courses. Guests can enjoy sweeping views over the surrounding vineyards and share the space with the property’s much-loved animal residents who happily wander the grounds.
